About the Author
Benedict Blathwayt lives on the edge of Exmoor. He has written and illustrated many titles for the Random House lists, of which the Little Red Train series is particularly popular. His wife is also an artist and he has two grown-up sons.

drawings are from green light for the litte red train
My 2 1/2 yr old son, who loves the little red train books and has most of them, enjoys the interactive aspect of this book. The postcards are great. I was a bit disappointed that, although the story is new, the drawings in this book are taken largely from Green Light for the Little Red Train - and the drawings are the best part of any Benedict Blathwayt book.
Fantastic!
My 3 year old little boy was bought this for his birthday & what a fantastic present it is! I cannot stress enough what a brilliant little book this is for young children. The story is lovely & the extra activity items create a brilliant interaction between you & your child when you are reading it. Excellent!
Little red train busy day
This is a fantastic story book for any train fan,the way the story is written really captures a childs imagination and mine and you feel you are there with the little red train & duffy driver throughout the journey I would highly recommend this book.
