very poor
stated turnaround time for repair or replacement as 8-10 days I waited about 5 weeks for return of product.

No comminication between the insurance company and the repairers so you have too keep calling different companies to find out status of your claim.

very poor customer service you may as well ask a yoghurt for advise!!

My advise would be too stay away and take your chances, having said that they did supply me with a new unit hence the 1 star i have given them and a nice letter telling me that my 3 YEAR APPLIANCE COVER was now void and the certificate should be destroyed so I guess I'm not getting the other 18 months I paid for then? rip off!!!

Electricat Product Insurance
In principal this Insurance is great, however buyers should be aware that they should claim on the Product Warranty during its validity before resorting to a claim on this policy, since only one claim is entertained during its lifetime.
By claiming (should that be necessary) on the warranty first, a possible later claim is still possible under this insurance

Grest price for peace of mind...
I bought this when I purchased an LCD monitor for my PC. I thought that for the money I may as well as the monitor was an expensive enough piece of kit and for piece of mind this was a good idea.

Thankfully I haven't had to use it so have no idea what the customer service etc. is like. Fingers crossed I won't have to find out!
