Synopsis
Inspired by the real-life adventures of forensic anthropologist & author Kathy Reichs, Bones is a compelling investigative drama filled with romantic tension & dark humour. David Boreanaz (Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) stars as F.B.I. agent Seeley Booth, who teams up with forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance “Bones” Brennan (Emily Deschanel) & her quirky team of scientists, to solve some of the most baffling and bizarre crimes ever, relying on gritty instinct & state-of-the-art criminal investigation procedures and technology.

The television series Bones is a crime drama that mixes elements of forensic science, romance, and comedy to excellent effect. Centred on the relationship between forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan (played by Emily Deschenel) and FBI special agent Seely Booth (played by David Boreanaz), Bones is a hard-hitting, action-packed show marked by fine writing, acting, and direction. The episodes of series one to three are brought together for this collection.

CSI eat your heart out!5
This is a brilliant series. We have watched it every night for weeks just working our way through.

Very intelligent mysteries, but it is the charismatic cast that make this unusual and unmissable fun. Boreanaz is heroic, but with a nice battery of issues and quirks (like despising rich people) and Deschanel is captivating as a brilliant scientist with mild Aspergers Syndrome - so she finds it hard to understand relationships, subtlety, hints and appropriate behaviour. Her calling God an "invisible friend" to a vicar and explaining a pun to a group that got the joke a few seconds ago - make this a treat. Her fellow scientists are just as dotty, particulalry Zack - like a little boy with a huge IQ who doesn't have any social skills. He makes you want to protect him and he make Deschanel's character look well rounded and socially integrated by contrast.

I'm burbling too much. Some things have to be experienced, not described, and this is one of them!

BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!5
This is the best american show I have ever seen. As a brusy bonus on season 3, you get 3 free episodes of season 4. I wonder if anyone knows if these are going to be on the season 4 dvd?
Anyway, every episode is different and seeing how the characters evolve is great, I especially like Zack as I find him hilarious.
MUST BUY

I am getting this tomorrow. as i had to wait a while but its worth the wait because this is one amazing show. and i am so obsessed with it, i got hooked on season 4 so i decided to see what dvds of bones there were, so when i saw this, i was like great, if you brought them seperate it would be 370 anyway, so whats the point your saving £15 when you buy this which is awesome.

booth & Brennan have such chemistry, and this is one underrated show. it needs more credit cause it deserves it.
