I had one of these which still looks lovely. But under the curves it was a cheap bit of kit. The latch and power adapter broke. Both the OS's it shipped were discontinued within 6 mnths. Hmm

I had one of these. The logic board had 2 be replaced twice in 3 years & the disc drive replaced once. Apple refused to replace it for 7 mnths. Google 4 lots of unhappy imac oweners, G4, G5 & intel.

Buy used from: £350.00 I have one of these which over heats and the battery fails. The OS has been discontinued 2 yrs after release, locking me in to an upgrade if I want up to date software. XP works despite Vista.

Buy used from: £83.99 I had one of these. It worked for 18 mnths. The click wheel failed, the head phone socket crackles and the head phones broke. £200+ seems a lot for 18 mnths of use. Can you see a pattern yet?

Buy used from: £599.99 Apple finally replaced my imac G5 with one of these. It was a battle to get them to do it. But credit to them, once they agreed they did it quickly. UPDATE the mic and idvd don't work properly!!!
