canal maps
Having just purchased a 1/12 share of a narrowboat I am eagerly planning my first owner outing. The Nicholson guide is clear, understandable and an enjoyable read as maps go. The price was reasonable and its accuracy will be tested the first week in December!

Four counties and Welsh canals
The info may be all there but is not clear as the book tries to serve all canal users and not just boaters - hence even unopened canals are on the maps and it often requires study to find out what is and is not navigable,
