Absolutely brilliant!5
This is a great story - set sometime soon after Robin & Guy reach their 'uneasy truce' after ep. 10. Told very ably by Richard Armitage, who gives each character a distinctive 'voice' so the 'The Sheriff said', 'Robin said' etc. prompts are not really needed, which makes it much easier to follow the story.

The best (& funniest) bit IMO was when Guy & Robin 'bond' over several bottles of wine & get very drunk. The way Richard Armitage does the drunk voices of the two - & the hangover, especially of Guy the next morning - makes me laugh every time I listen to it. In short, this story & the narration is absolutely brilliant - with moments of comedy, sadness, action & adventure as fine as any TV episode.

There is also a bonus interview with Richard Armitage at the end (different from The Witchfinders interview), which for any fan is the cherry on top of a very good cake.

Brilliant5
Richard Armitage does it again with this wonderful telling of a story which IMO was better than many of the episodes of RH S3. You can tell by the way he reads that he really gets caught up in the story and in turn so does the listener.

He does really well with the different voices, and really brings the story to life. I loved the scene when Robin and Guy get drunk. Worth every penny.

Excellent!5
Richard Armitage is an excellent audio book reader. The story really grabs you and that is all thanks to his reading. Several times, I found myself laughing out loud at the funny bits. The cd also contains a short but very nice interview with Richard, in which he also talks about his role in Spooks. Dear Richard, please don't stop making audio books! Audio book reading certainly is one of your many talents!
