Brilliant!
This book is fantastic! Anyone who has a loved one who is a soldier and is about to go away on tour to Iraq or Afghanistan should read it. It answers any question or worry that you have. It's one of those books that makes you agree out loud. A really useful book for anyone who is experiencing their first tour. Definitely buy it!

Exceptionally enlightening and profoundly written, Shelley Kaplar and Judith Bray have created a book that provides motivational and encouraging thoughts. The book embodies an infectious, authentic and practical wisdom that will unlock your possibilities. Spot on!
Unfortunately this book wasn't written or published in time for My son's tour of duty in Iraq but I bought it in his last month of tour and found it to be absolutely "spot on"....I really felt as though I had lived every word on those pages. It is the most accurate book I've come across which describes the feelings and the practical points about a tour in such a frightening place.
If you have a loved one out there or who is due to go out there, you really do need this book.It will prove to be invaluable when it comes to practical help and explaining that your feelings of worry and dread are totally understandable and you're not alone in having those feelings...we have all had them.
