The legend of Michael Thomas!
"It's up for grabs now", were the immortal words uttered by late Brian Moore, as Arsenal's Michael Thomas scored the title winning 2nd goal at Anfield in May 1989. Needing to win 2-0 and a goal up, he scored in the 92nd minute, of the last game of the season, to clinch the first title since 1971 and inspire the film Fever Pitch.I have had the video of the game since and it is great to see this piece of Arsenal history coming out on dvd at last. This is a must buy for all gooners. It will bring back memories for all those fortunate enough to see the game either live or on tv. (I was in a house full of Liverpool fans). For those who weren't born, it will become etched in your memory, just as it has mine. You will feel a chill down your spine as you watch the closing seconds, coupled with those famous words from Brian Moore. Buy it, sit back and enjoy in Brian Moore's own words up to that time, "the greatest night of my television career".

WOW!
Even today, hearing those words of Brian Moore "It's up for grabs now!" as Thomas came into the area, I find my self screaming "KICK IT MIKEY, KICK IT!" and as the ball crosses the line, the hairs on my neck stand and i can breathe a sigh of relief. No matter how many times I watch it back, I cant help but think "No! He's gonna miss" or "Pleaaaaaaaaase just get in the net"

I think every Liverpool fan remembers this and certainly every Arsenal fan does. It was when McMahon was going round the Liverpool team and telling them that there was only 1 minute left. That made it even better. It certainly was "up for grabs now". Fantastic match that will stay in my memory forever. Especially as Arsenal played a 5-3-2, strange when they had to win 2-0!
