About the Author
Jane Dwight learned the art of traditional Chinese brush painting in Manila in the Philippines. Her teacher was the renowned expert, Professor Chen Bin Sun. She has also studied with the fabled Qu Lei Lei and Cai Xiaoli. Her beautiful paintings have appeared in many articles and books.

Made my Christmas day!
I received this for Christmas 2 hours ago and haven't put it down since! Even if you never put brush to paper to try to emulate these beautiful pictures you will have enormous pleasure from just reading it. But, I'll bet you won't be able to resist .....

CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING
Oh WOW!!!! This book is fantastic!! i strongly recommend you read the tecniques first if your new to this art. i am and i'm totally hooked. its straight forward, dosnt waffle and gets you itching to get on and paint. it shows you exactly how to start and then has loads of super pictures to copy. highly recommended!! its a must have! buy it!!

I cannot disagree with the other reviews, this book is ideal for people who are just begining this art or who have masterd the basics. The book is very well writen in simple easy to understand english, the projects are fun to do and it realy is a book you cannot put down. It will inspire your own creative abilities, I look forward to the DVD.
