simply great
I found this Dvd a great help.I've read books and still struggled when it came to putting paint to paper.I thought that if I bought a Dvd I'd at least be able to see how the paints are mixed and solve some of the problems like how do you use the same water through the whole process without the colours beggining to taint.This Dvd offers much more than that it gives you simple easy to follow instructions that enable you to paint believable landscapes.The have some fun guide was a revelation and so easy to remember!
Drawbacks were that in places the sound was a slightly distorted and the lessons do become a little repetative but that was more than made up for by Francs pleaseant and amiable manner.As the previouse reveiwer said a big thumbs up on this one.

Simply painting with watercolours and Acrylics
This is a great teaching DVD, Franks easy going 'you can do it' approach is fun to work along with.Before you know it you have produced a masterpeice of your very own. A big thumbs up for this one.

A good DVD for the absolute beginner
This DVD is aimed at the absolute beginner, it's easy to follow and well laid out. If you're just starting painting with water colours this will be a great help to you.

With my DVD the sound quality was poor, I needed the TV to near full volume and even then it was not very good. It seems this is a common problem, plenty others who have purchased this DVD have similar problems.

All in all this is a good DVD with useful tips and information for the beginner. It was just a shame about the poor sound quality.
