Very Good but ........5
These are excellent dvd's only problem is they are re-releases of his TV series that he made over 10 years ago and have been released again on dvd by another company under a different cover- so be aware you may end up with duplicates just like I did.

Everyone who love art should own this DVD5
Frank's DVD arrived today I watch it, its easy to follow and well laid out, very reasonable price and suitable for children to follow. I bought the other Artist set, is good, but 20 time more expensive than Franks DVD. The DVD sound quality and the picture is great. This is a great teaching DVD. A big thumbs up for this one. For those who love art, I have no doubt I 100 percent recommend everyone buy Franks Clarke DVD.

Excellent for beginners5
I originally joined an evening class for beginners watercolour painting and ended up in a classroom full of accomplished painters who treated the class like a weekly club; I lasted about two weeks before leaving.

As I had bought all the equipment and did not want to waste it, I then purchased this excellent five hour DVD set for beginners. The 12 programmes were originally shown on television and are collected together in these three DVD's. The Titles of the DVD's are 'Beautiful Landscapes', 'Still Life' and 'By The Sea' and are all available separately.

I would highly recommend this DVD set for a beginner in watercolour painting, partly because it is cheaper than buying each disk separately or going along the Alwin Cranshaw route, as he assumes you have got to the intermediate stage and know what he is talking about, but mainly because of Franks easy manner and 'let's have some fun' attidude to painting, assuming that you are a beginner and not to worry if you make a hash of it.
