For every man who always wondered why some guys have all the luck, Mystery, considered by many to be the world's greatest pickup artist, finally reveals his secrets for finding and forming relationships with some of the world's most beautiful women. Mystery gained mainstream public attention for his role in Neil Strauss's "New York Times" bestselling expose, "The Game". Now, he has written the definitive handbook on the art of the pickup. He developed his unique method over years of observing social dynamics and interacting with women in clubs to learn how to overcome the guard that many women put up to deflect come-ons from "average frustrated chumps." His tips include: give more attention to her less attractive friend at first, so your target will get jealous and try to win your attention; always approach a target within three seconds of noticing her; if a woman senses your hesitation, her perception of your value will be lower; don't be picky; approach as many groups of people in a bar as you can and entertain them with fun conversation. As you move about the room, positive perception of you will grow. Now it's easy to meet anyone you want; and, smile. Guys who don't get laid, don't smile.

Awesome book, sick of the cynical reviews
First off, the mystery method is a well written, well laidout, thorough, clever, helpful book. It allows you to understand certain things about women which make sense and explains step by step how to pick up a woman that you want. The bad reviews it has got are hugely uncalled for, some of the reasons suggested in the bad reviews are things like, theres not enough examples, but not everything can be spoon fed, you need to think of things for yourself and see what works for you, also if there were lots of great examples then there would be a robot army of PUA saying the same things, similar to what was explained in the game. another reason for the bad reviews are due to people thinking its about manipulation, NO ITS NOT! it can be used to manipulate, but using a lines from the film 'Hitch'.....'any man can sweep any woman off their feet, they just need the right broom' the mystery method gives you your broom. Not every guy will work game to just get one night stands, so the cynics saying that its about manipulation are wrong, also the MM allows you to get the girls attention so in the comfort building zone and onwards, they can get to know the real you, would they notice you otherwise if you didn't use lines etc...? probably not! Men have been using chat up lines and things for years so this is just a much better, less cheesy way of learning how to evolve beyond those cheesy chat up lines you hear in the pub every week. I would highly suggest anyone with dating problems or even if you want to understand women better, you should get this book, but i would recommend you read the game by Neil Strauss first as it gives you a great foundation, also remember this is just one of the theories (mentioned in the game) their are lots out there, like cocky funny (david DeAngelo) etc... so read around the subject and learn as much about women as you can, this is one book in your collection, learn, and adapt socially and become a better you and be able and confident to show everyone the real you in the end! good luck everyone!
Good theory - but where's the practice?
The book's all theory - you need one of his $2,950 courses to make it work, or get a book on it, as he tells you to do on page 77. So what's the point of buying this book? The first 67 pages are his definitions and his hugely time wasting theory. There's loads of repetiton.
The book lacks `canned material' - whole examples of everything you might say and do from start to finish. If there was just one chapter on it, the book would justify itself. But that would be the only chapter you would need to learn, and its missing.
I've finished it, re-read it and summarised the useful bits: I only got one and three quarter pages of useful info. It has not equipped me to even begin the first "opener."
Mixed feelings about this v.practical book - maybe a starting point.
'Mystery' says that to use these tips u have to go out four times a week - evenings.for 4 hrs a piece and approach 12 women per night.erm - don't really have the inclination to be that desperate and am too lazy to be honest.the book has some good ideas but it all makes u a bit cynical really, informing u of 20 million ways to lie to get women into bed.it all seems a bit sad.there are some good tips n info but it's average. 'The rules of the game may be more practical' and 'The game'is a much more enjoyable read. 'Mystery' isnt exactly ugly as sin either which makes u a bit cyncical.ho hum.nevermind.
