Product Description

"All Dogs Have ADHD" takes an inspiring and affectionate look at Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), using images and ideas from the canine world to explore a variety of traits that will be instantly recognisable to those who are familiar with ADHD. Following the style of the award-winning "All Cats Have Asperger Syndrome", charming colour photographs of dogs bring to life familiar ADHD characteristics such as being restless and excitable, getting easily distracted, and acting on impulse. This delightful book combines humour with understanding to reflect the difficulties and joys of raising a child with ADHD and celebrates what it means to be considered 'different'. This absorbing and enjoyable book takes a refreshing approach to understanding ADHD.

Interesting Way of Showing ADHD4
As a matter of fact, I decided to delete my previous review because it has come under fire recently. So I would like to give you my different and not complicated comments on this book.

I would say all the pictures shown in this book amuse me a great deal. Like All Cats Have Asperger Syndrome, Kathy Hoopmann describes All Dogs Have ADHD in a very humorous way. Kathy shows each symptom of ADHD and Asperger's in each picture by drawing her readers' attention in a sophisticated way. So every picture on both of them are so specific that most people can easily catch the image of those developmental impairments.

Therefore, I would like you to deal with All Dogs Have ADHD if someone you know have ADHD or you are diagnosed with this condition.

Lovely book to read and look at.4
My son is 5 and autistic with ADHD. We love this book with the large, colourful and fun dog photos with short, bold, ADHD related statements on each page. This book explains alot of my sons behaviour that I sometimes put down to just autism. We look at this book often, my son likes this as a bedtime story. The underlying message from this book, is that its good to be different.

Just to add that this book is very basic, if you want to know lots about ADHD, dont buy this book.
