'Creating Wire and Beaded Jewelry' is the perfect gift book for a friend or member of the family who has an interest in crafts. Even if they've never held a pair of pliers before, or made a pair of simple earrings, this book clearly illustrates every stage and informs and inspires! You can definitely create beautiful pieces of jewellery by following the step-by steps in this book. The quality of the photography is clear, stylish and very appealing. Anyone who can tie their shoelaces and see, could attempt these projects. The other attractive aspect of the craft is that it is affordable - just wire, beads and three tools. A perfect gift book for anyone with creative tendencies!

One of the best beginners book on creating wire and beaded jewellery
This was the first (and the best) book I bought on making wire and beaded jewellery.

Clear, concise instructions, good photographs and inspirational designs - both basic and more advanced. You can create good pieces inexpensively, using only a few tools. The fastenings section is very good, particularly if you're making bracelets or necklaces - they are easy to make yet look very professional.

Having been really inspired by this book I went and bought Linda Jones latest wire and beaded jewellery book and was very disappointed. It wasn't a patch on this one - the instructions weren't as clear, the pieces weren't as nice (there were only two which I thought worth making). So if you're looking and think you'll go with the newest volume don't. Stick with this one, it's the best.

Excellent book on wire work
This was the first book I bought on making wire jewellery. She takes a simple approach yet the pieces are effective. I have made some of the projects as small gifts and they have been very popular.

I would definitely recommend this book if you're looking for a good grounding in wire work.
