Customer Reviews
Amazing product, great quality!
Excellent! We had inserted our SD card which had some music and vide on it, the speakers are amazing, the fact that we could play our photos and have music playing in the background was cute. Although you may think that 5.5" may be small, we were suprised that this looks so perfect on our table. We have now since bought 2 more for friends.
Simple but good frame
The ATMT Clearview 5.5" Digital Photo Frame is a very simple and easy to use device that works straight of the box. It has all the basic functions you would want from a digital photo frame (slideshow, file preview, back/forward, rotate, pause and many more) and does its job neatly and efficiently.
The screen itself looks smaller than it is as the frame proper around it is quite large relatively but should be adequate for most uses. The resolution is not that high either. Much depends upon the quality of the pictures on the memory card (or USB stick) you insert so do not expect the screen itself to perform any miracles in this respect.
The unit comes with a nifty remote and a stand. The user manual is written in that comical English only seen in foreign product user manuals but, really, the unit is so easy to use that this is not a problem and the OSD menus are fine and easy to navigate.
This is not a hi spec product by any means but if you are looking for a cheap, entry level, first ever digital photo frame to try out before moving on to more sophisticated units, then you will not be disappointed.
Good picture frame but....
Hi...I bought this as it seemed a good deal. The item works good as a picture frame but that is where it stops. I cannot get any video files to play on it - and all it tells you is that it can play MPEG 1/2/4 & AVI. It doesn't help you with size or frame rates or encoding information. I tried several movie files (some MP4 files from my PSP/some downloaded MP4 files & an AVI file) not one of them played.
Also there is no option to swith from NTSC on mine yet the manual states it can be set to Multi/Pal or NTSC.
