Road tests
I bought this book because I wanted to find as much out about the Mk1 Golf GTI as possible. This book has extracts from all the car magazines of the day when the Golf GTI was first released. It gives performance, dimensions, minute details about the car which you dont get from our modern car magazines. Covers the American versions too, so is a good reference point.
Not so good I'm afraid
Thought I'd get this to gem up on the GTi - but loads of American articles - not what I wanted at all - would have sent it back if it wasn't so much hassle. However, I've got other books from this range which are rather good - so maybe this is just a one off.
