Oxford Maximiser 360T - Awesome bit of kit5
I haven't been using my Fazer 600 for a few weeks and, certainly since I installed the new heated grips, there has been a serious lack of battery power at the start up. When I went to start the bike I got the clicking noise, which in my experience means there is insufficient charge to start the motorbike.

I got fed up with my battery dying every year because I don't use the bike as much over the winter months, so I decided to invest in a trickle type charger.

Looked at the various brands available and decided it was between the Optimate 4 for the Oxford Minimiser 360T. From what I can tell on website reviews, it's six of one half dozen the other. Both charge and maintain batteries. Difference is, the 360T has more info on the blue screen which looks cool.

Both were around the same price, so I went for the 360T because it had the additional "cool" factor.

Like other trickle chargers, you can remove the battery or leave it where it is in the bike. I can fit the cable permanently to the battery and simply plug in when I get home, which saves hassle.

Plugs in the dead battery, which was reading at around 9.4v. Salvation is not always possible below 9v, so I was optimistic. The 360T charges the battery to the max, then stops and lets the charge drop. It notes if it loses too much charge too quickly, then charges again. Then it'll stop again and see if it loses too much charge too quickly, then charges again, and so on ........

My battery is now showing "strong" in illuminated green and has a permanent 12.8v without any charge. Well impressed.
