The Nitty Gritty comb can only be described as *****Y MARVELOUS!!!

I have 2 girls at junior school, both have long hair and both have had nits from time to time. The school used to have some parents who didn't take things seriously with nits and head lice so the whole class suffered!! (im sure some of you know what im talking about!!)

We tried ALL the lice treatments etc etc etc but no matter how clean their heads were on monday my2 had nits by the end of the week!!.
Until i heard about the Nitty Gritty!! Used with Tea Tree treatment this comb is the best £9.99 you will ever spend!!! The tea Tree helps keep the lil fellas at bay but when the inevitable happens the removal is easy!!

Just wet your child's hair and apply some normal hair conditioner, this helps the comb glide through the hair no matter how long it is. Then with the comb having long serrated teeth the hair has chance to spread out across the length and so does not clog in the teeth! The teeth are very strong and don't bend so and nits picked off the scalp stay in the teeth and are easily seen. i usually rinse the comb in a dish of water between brushes and obviously work slowly across the head as usual.

i hope this review gives you confidence to buy a comb because altho you may still use preventive measures the lil fellas still jump on!! and when they do you can shift them quicker and with FAR less of the OUCH factor for your little one!!

I highly recommend this product and it is worth it's price ten times over. My daughter is nit free and no longer traumatised at bath and hair combing times.

For all parents who have been through more than two bouts of this a year then they will fully appreciate the trauma inflicted on the whole household. We will never stop the thoughtless lazy parents who don't care, but this product can stop nits in there tracks by a once weekly comb through, quickly and easily.

Best head lice treatment I have ever used
I have used many head lice combs and treatments over the years on my children. This comb has to be the most efficient and easy to use by a long LONG way.
I have used other metal combs in the past, but this one is so different, it really pulls out the unhatched eggs, as well as the lice. I did a quick dry comb (which with other combs is totally useless usually) on one child's head, and became utterly astonished as comb fulls of eggs and tiny TINY babies came out - very satisfying.
you won't regret buying one of these.
In fact, as I was using it, I starting wondering if they were looking for reps to sell them!
