Very useful
This is a very easy to use book and is a 442 pages long. It is a paperback.
It is very simple to use as there is simply an alphabetical lists of words in bold type. Next to these headwords are a list of words that are synonymous and there is usually though not always one antonym in capital letters.
Since no more than one antonym of a word is ever listed one would have to look up all the synonyms of the antonym in order to see if any of those are also antonyms of the original headword if one isn't satisfied with suggested antonym.
E.g. abeyance
Suspension, intermission, deferment, postponement, reservation, dormancy. REVIVAL.
Next check revival. The closest word listed is revive. This gives a number of synoyms but no antonyms (of revive) and most of the synonyms of revive are not antonyms of abeyance.
This is a fascinating and useful reference book.
A very helpful and even entertaining book
I find this book very interesting and as helpful as entertaining.
