Customer Reviews
Fantastic, readable and practical
This books goes through all the processes of writing an essay and to me is generalisable across a wide range of subjects. I am a postgraduate and had lost my academic edge. The book takes you through reading strategies and then through writing strategies and provides great tips and ways in which to gain the most from your reading and how to write a better essay...I will highly recommend this book to my fellow postgraduates and undergrads! It has helped me gain perspective and focus and regain my academic flair.
Must Read for Undergraduate Students
Peter Levin presents an excellent guide to essay writing. He describes all the stages involved in a clear succint manner. Highly recommended.
Academic speak buster!
This book starts on the premise that essays are hard to write and the world of the acedmic is frankly a bit freaky, clouded in long words and phrases only three other people on the planet understand. Step by step it takes you through writing, compliling your points, thoughts and conclusions. It is also very enjoyable and east to read, which is nice. If you have to write an essay, for whatever reason, and start, as I do, by thinking, ummmm. This will help.
