16 Steps
Excellent book & practical guide.
If you are serious about attempting a novel of your own this provides a step by step methodology that appears to work. The templates that are provided are easy to follow while comprehensive enough to be of significant use.
The last section on creating a suitable business case & marketing your masterpeice is particularly interesting.
I would thoroughly recommend!
got me published
I had a finished first draft of a novel and was VERY STUCK until I found this book. I basically re-wrote the whole novel using the steps in this book ... and guess what ... my novel got published and won an award!
Sixteen steps & a couple of hundred pages to success
Evan Marshall's book is exactly what I was looking for. If, like me, you have a series of half-formed story ideas floating around your consciousness then the rigid structure suggested by this book will help to coalesce them into a novel. Obviously there are no guarantees of commercial success but following this plan should at least lead to the holy grail of any aspiring novelist: a finished book.
