At last, plotless erotica!
I've read my fair share of "erotic" books. A lot are too lesbianism laden for my tastes, most are too plot heavy and the ones that find the right combination of the two aren't graphic enough.

For example, along with this book, I purchased "Erotic Interludes" which was discarded after the first story (dark, angst filled erotica doesn't get me in the mood). Then, I moved onto Bettina and, boy, I'm glad I did.

There's some girl-girl action, a lot of teasing and not too much plot. You don't need to think, you just read. It's fun, sometimes funny, but mostly it's erotic. You can read the stories yourself or with your partner - there's a little bit for everyone.

Best of all, in the stories, it's the women that are in charge. This isn't a book that deals with violence against women. This isn't a book that pretends to hold a message (as the other reviewers rightly said: this book isn't pretentious).

Bettina's the perfect remedy for those who've been left unsatisfied with other erotica authors (or collections). I thoroughly recommend buying the other three - you'll probably get through this one in a week ;).

This hits the spot, in more ways than one...
A great selection of hot,sexy stories, and to be honest I had as much fun reading them as my wife did. I read all in one night and my wife has a sexier glint in her eye these days. Buy this book, you will not be disappointed. Sorry got to get back to volume 2...

Fun with Bettina and her dodgy mates
It's hard to criticise a book that has absolutely no pretensions, and this book doesn't pretend to be anything but what it is - a light-hearted, sexy read.

Basically we have a selection 14 "erotic" short stories all introduced by Bettina in her own inimitable way. Subjects range from lesbianism to prostitution, so unless your name is Mary Whitehouse there should be somethiing here for you. None of the stories is particularly deep and meaningful, so it's ideal to dip into when you have just a few minutes to spare and can't be bothered to concentrate, e.g. while awaiting the arrival of your hot date!

If I have one little "quibble" it's that some of the stories are more funny than sexy, "Skin Flicks" rates highest on the laughometer, but I won't spoil the surprise by telling you why..
