A Doggy Delight
This book really stands out even before you open it, because it's shaped like a kennel. The illustrations are vibrant, joyful and full of character, and it has good-quality textured inserts. The story has a wonderful rhythm with a dash of humour, and creative use of different fonts adds visual appeal.
My 2-year-old adores this book, and knows most of it by heart. My 4-year-old enjoys it too. After umpteen readings, I still find it a real pleasure to read.
