Being dry, the bands dramatically reduce the toxic chemical absorption into the skin. The DEET is only expelled outwards. Provides over 100 hours protection (7 hours per day for 14 days). Pack contains 4 bands. Not suitable for children under 3 years old.

These work!
I've used these bands in the tropics and the Scottish Highlands and they do a good job. Bugs normally feast on me but they stayed away when I was wearing these. They may not be quite as effective as the typical DEET-based sprays, but they are effective for several days, and without the mess (& possible adverse side effects) of sprays. They also smell reasonably pleasant so you won't deter the 2-legged specimens. I use my wit and repartée for that!
