Manufacturer's Description
The Cosatto Aurora Deluxe Diner baby highchair features a super-soft luxury, wipe clean, leatherette highchair seat. There's an adjustable height feature on the highchair for baby's feeding comfort, and it also features a three-position reclining highchair seat function so baby can have a little snooze after dinner. The Cosatto Aurora Deluxe Diner baby highchair also has a five-point, fully adjustable highchair safety harness to keep baby safe. The seat can be adjusted to any height between top and bottom to suit baby's needs. Cleverly, it also has a dishwasher safe double feeding tray, so that top tray can be removed for easy cleaning and for carrying meals to baby, to be placed on top of the other tray. The highchair also comes with a matching splash mat, which can be used if necessary to help prevent baby making a mess of the floor while feeding or bathing.
Customer Reviews
Looks great, but not a great seating position
This seat really does look the part - however, my daughter even in the upright position is not sat upright enough and struggles to reach food from the tray. She is 9 months old now and still not obviously big enough to benefit from this chair enough. She has only fallen asleep in it once so the recline facility has not been much use to us. My parents bought a cheap high chair for use when we visited and it's actually much better - my daughter can sit upright in it and grab food from the tray.
My advice - go to a shop if you can and sit your baby in the chair. this seat is a bit too confortable - it's almost like eating from an armchair!
ideal solid highchair
Bought this for my disabled son - he has down's syndrome.
the pushchair is solid, comfy and reflux proof!
The two trays interjoin and can be stored at the back.
Easy to assemble from packaging and has a play water tray toy.
the straps to keep baby in are safe and adjustable for even a small baby
there are arm rests which can be lifted up
its manoverable either up or down and doesnt really take as much space as you think - ok so it doesnt fold down like the cheaper ones - but its solid floor standing as oppose to not so solid
it looks cool and is very comfy with extra padding for head support
when i bought mine is was cheaper than those not as good at the maor baby places and included free delivery - arrived next day in fact.
It can be put up and put down with one hand - while holding baby - not both sides at once, you have to move around - its secure when up. The tray underneath is great for toys used only at meal times - no dashing off to keep baby happy, its all underneath.
I love this chair - total lifesaver!
My little girl is currently only on week two of weaning but I already LOVE this chair - it looks very cool but that really is just a bonus, I didn't realise how easy it was going to be to use. I strongly recommend having a look at the user demo on Youtube before buying, as it gives you a great idea of what it's like.
The recliner is great, and adjusting the heights is a piece of cake (ours isn't wonky, so they aren't all like some reviewers have, if you get a wonky one I'd send it back)
I find it no trouble to manouvre, but I have hard floors, it may be more difficult on carpet. It's also very lightweight so easy to pick up. However I don't think it would easily be packed into a car boot, so it's best if you want one that just stays in the house. It's very sturdy, which is what I wanted as I have a dog and was concerned about a flimsy chair getting knocked over.
The two trays are genius for cleaning and the pat mat is lovely although my little girl isn't able to reach it very well yet at only 6 months, it'll be great for later.
Only negative points are the straps are quite cheap and scratchy, they don't really fit with the rest of the chair, and the tray is difficult to attach to the back of the chair for storage, it falls off if not on properly, and often falls off if the storage basket underneath is full.
On the whole a fantastic purchase, sturdy, lightweight and fabulous to look at, my mummy friends are all envious :)
I would absolutely recommend this product.
