Product Description

RespisenseTM is the world's first super-safe, perfectly portable infant breathing effort monitor with proactive response. The award-winning and patented invention is so compact and light that it can be used wherever baby may fall asleep. RespisenseTM, simply clips onto the waistband of a nappy, quietly and unobtrusively monitors baby's tummy movements while asleep and will alert the nearest caregiver after 20 seconds of inactivity. In addition, the unique and proactive TummyTickleTM tactile stimulator of the Buzz model will gently act as baby's "wake-up" call after an initial 15 seconds of inactivity, sounding the alarm 5 seconds later if tummy movement does not resume. An audible alarm alerts the nearest caregiver when no breathing effort is detected for longer than 20 seconds. Also built-in is the unique breathing stimulator that gently rouses the baby to resume breathing before sounding the alarm, allowing an instantaneous response to unsafe periods of inactivity.

Customer Reviews

Excellent product5
I have recently purchased this product as a secondary monitor that I can use during the daytime while my baby sleeps in her moses basket. A conventional monitor with sensor pad will not work in a moses basket so I thought I would give this a try. I was a little dubious and thought the baby might not like wearing it or that it would slip off the nappy during movement.
I have actually been really delighted with it and keep showing it off to my visitors as I am so impressed with what a great invention it is. It is like a mini pager device for a baby and sits very securely on the top of a standard disposable nappy. I have tested it to see what the baby would do when it goes off and the buzzer is very mild and just enough vibration to gently move the baby. The alarm starts off very low and then gets loud only if there is no response. I am completely confident leaving my baby to sleep while I can get on with the housework or have a bath! I will also use it when going on holiday (no packing) and when using babysitters as it gives me extra confidence that they will be alerted should the baby have a problem.
Yes it is expensive but what price is peace of mind. Thoroughly recommended to all nervous parents like myself who would like extra reassurance that their baby is safe and well

dont think twice about it buy one !5
was actually bought one of these by a relative when we had our baby and this little gadget allows total peace of mind when you are going to sleep.
you can test it on yourself and feel happy knowing that you would hear the very loud alarm if something was wrong. The unit is small and light and will create a loud alarm if no movement is detected.
this has been a brilliant device and i would urge all new parents who cant help but stare just to make sure the baby is breathing to get one and im sure you would write a review like this.

Fantastic product would definitely recommend5
This has to be one of the best products I have ever bought. For peace of mind when baby is sleeping this is a fantastic product and I would definitely recommend it. In four months the alarm has gone off three times, maybe false alarms but who knows maybe this alarm has saved my daughters life. Double folding the nappy definitely prevents it slipping off and stays next to babys skin so it can monitor the breathing pattern and helps prevents the alarm going off for no reason. It also means I get a full decent nights sleep without getting up several times a night checking on my daughter. My new motto is if the alarm isn't going off then she's fine and I can sleep.. Brilliant!!
