Excellent for potty training
This books is almost perfect for potty training. My daughter loves it. The story is on target with potty training (unlike others that just forget that the point is to introduce your child to the concept of using the potty) and the writing flows beautifully. The pictures are also very attractive and my daughter can't get enough of this book. I read it to her every time she sits on the potty. The only thing I don't like is that when Ducky takes off her nappy she 'kicks it across the floor', this is unnecessary and a bad lesson for children. As my daughter does not read yet (she's 18 months) I just read this as 'she puts her nappy on the floor'. This one line is a shame because the rest of the story is lovely, respectful and educational.
Nappy Duck is the Best!
After reading this book at the nursery where I work, I fell in love with it myself! It's a lovely story of a duck who realises he wants to be as grown up as his friend Piggy and use the potty just like him. It's a cute story, easy to read and the illustrations are adorable. Loved it!
Potty training book
A delightful book for all Mums and Dads wanting to gently introduce the idea of using a potty to their little ones. My 2 year old loves this book, it's simple, short and sweet with very cute pics, we have to read it again and again!
