FAB AND COMFY
Originally I bought a standard potty for my daughter from Tesco, but she wouldn't even sit on it, never mind anything else. But when I bought this, because it looks like a toilet (but little like her) she loved it. She also mastered potty training in two days with it!
The best thing about it for my daughter is that it has a soft seat, so she can sit on it for ages without getting uncomfortable! Now she has mastered this potty, she will also go on (and use) the standard one which I got her originally, which I keep upstairs, but she doesn't like it very much because it hurts her bottom, whereas this one she has no problems with.
This 'system' is also good because it has two steps, one for the sink and one for the toilet (when they're ready). The soft padded seat also comes off to put on the grown-up toilet when they are ready too. Other little features of this system is the loo roll holder on the side and also a place at the back to keep baby wipes in.

Brilliant
I ordered this Potty Training System for my Grandson. He was 2yrs 10mths at the time and very resistant to any form of toilet training, refusing to sit on a small potty. I talked to him about the new special toilet I was buying just for him, and by the time it was delivered he was very excited. Obviously I'd made it sound very special.
It looks just like a child size toilet, and the holder for paper and the box for wipes are very useful. The seat is very comfortable, and the detachable shield makes it perfect for boys or girls.
My Grandson was eager to sit on it immediately, at first with clothes on, but by the afternoon of the first day he was happy to sit on without pants and by the end of the day he had done his first wee in it. It's so easy to empty as it has a jug shaped potty under the seat that is simple to remove and carry.
I can honestly say there was no looking back after the first day and my Grandson was happy to use it all the time. After such success I went on to the next stage and transfered the soft seat to the real toilet and turned the base upside down to make a step. As he was still sitting on the same seat the transition was simplicity itself. No tears or tantrums, just one happy toilet trained little boy.
I would recommend the Summer Infant Potty Training System to anyone who wants to make toilet training a calm and happy process.

an extra special toilet
I wish i had just bought this potty first, I purchased a traditional one first and my daughter didn't like it at all.She said it hurt her bum and was dis-inclinded to sit on it for any length of time.

However when i bought this one she loved it! with the aid of a reward chart she is now very excited about toilet training. with its padded seat she never complains and frequently sits on it to watch tv and read books.

She is also very taken with having her own toilet roll holder.
She calls it her special toilet!

Also it seems well made and sturdy. The potty is good and deep so it does not splash her and removes easily for quick and easy cleaning and the colours are nice and bright and suitable for boy or girl.

Can't recommend highly enough.
