Some good recipes that are easy to do at home
I bought this based on the reviews and I didn't want to buy something that required me to get dozens of weird and wonderful ingredients to make. Some of the recipes were great, i could make them straight away, but 25% of them required a trip to the supermarket and specialist stores to stock up, so not quite as an "express" as I had hoped.
Interesting food for all occasions
I like that the food Nigella presents is not limited to a type of meals. Too often "Express" cooking book focus on lunch or dinner. Her book give us options for all occasions, from breakfast to entertaining. It is great and it tastes great!
Quite amazing
I have been delighted with this book. There are a huge number of well thought out recipes inside. Without compromising on the quality of the food (it really is excellent) - Nigella has produced recipes that can in some cases be knocked up within fifteen minutes.
You can expect, for the most part, food that is several cuts above a weekday meal. However, there are also many wonderful starters, mains and desserts which would delight dinner-party guests. I cannot recommend this highly enough, why slave for hours aspiring to perfection when you can achieve the same result in thirty minutes?
