Customer Reviews

Funny almost beyond belief!5
This is a truly hilarious show.
The section about the cats, the pigeon and the mouse never fails to have me in tears of laughter.
And anyone who ever rode an old FS50 will know EXACTLY what he's talking about - 49cc of mayhem !!!
Truly worth adding to your comedy collection.
Brilliant - even for us whingin' Poms (Buy the dvd to understand that)

Hilarious5
There are few things worse than a comedian with a script...and Alan Davies is certainly not a comedian with a script!

I've watched this routine more times than I care to count, and still I'm laughing. Alan is simply a comedian of formidable talent and, if you haven't seen this yet, I strongly recommend this as one stand-up act that you'll enjoy over-and-over again.

Just as good...5
The DVD description is right, If you like the TV Alan you'll love the live Alan, and if you don't like the TV Alan, you'll love the live Alan even more,
The persona you see on QI and Johnathan Creek is definatly tweaked to suit a specific audience, wheras the the live Alan is all real, and all funny.
A lot like Jeff Green in the types of jokes he tells and in the delivery, but with many topics such as ice skating at the Olympics and keeping his cats under conrol.
A highly recomended DVD, Top of my collection
PS, I think he was rather drunk when filming this.
