Inadequate
Is Sony deliberately mocking us? After years of pleading with them to release one of the finest television comedies ever made, they give us this Best-of and re-release the first season. Sony, this is nowhere near good enough. Ok, this DVD is fine; 23 super episodes and a hell of a lot of extras (Shandling demonstrating that to all intents and purposes, he has more or less become Larry Sanders, in some truly awkward interviews only barely relating to the show). But what the fans REALLY want is the full release of all six seasons of this show. We're not bothered about the greatest picture ever, if that's what's holding you back - we know they were made on the kind of film that doesn't transfer in the highest quality film to DVD. At this point, many of us aren't even so bothered about extras, either. What's needed is simply a commercial release so that the significant fanbase to this masterpiece can own the official collection.

Is that so hard to arrange?
