Brilliant !5
This book is the absolute bible for off road prepping your VW. It tends towards sand and desert use mainly but also has many tips for those of us in a more moist climate. Jeff draws on his own and others experience to supply the rest of us with the cheap and reliable methods to robust your vehicle.

The book was not what I had expected. I was looking for more technical guidance on construction rather than on the history of the style. That said it was an interesting enough read and i picked up some good pointer/ideas.
