Hallelujah - at last!!!
I have already bought the protected version from iTunes, but felt compelled to purchase this iconic song again (of course unprotected and greater quality from Amazon). This great track, to be covered by the X Factor winner this year, will be a definite hit. Many, like myself, will have never heard of Jeff Buckley before now, but this song has thrust him into the limelight which is great given his talent.

So beautiful
In my opinion, this is the best version of this song, even better than Leonard Cohen's (the original creator). It's sung with such power and emotion and is just hauntingly beautiful. If this doesn't at least bring tears to your eyes you must have a heart of stone.

Fantastic, Moving, Definitive
This is the definitive version of this song (as stated by the original songwriter himself, Leonard Cohen).

Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah is unapologetically bare, there's Jeff and his guitar and that's pretty much it, and it's because of this that his version manages to be so moving and emotional.

The Cohen version was a bit tacky, the new Alexandra Burke version even more so (she's turned it into a power ballad).

For anybody with a discerning ear, this version is easily the best.
