Sebastien Tellier's dark humour has always been an important part of his music, and it arguably reaches its zenith on 'Sexuality', his third studio album. Inspired solely by the act of love-making, it is something of a musical departure from his first two LPs, much more reliant on electronics and the creation of atmosphere rather than traditional song structures. The single 'Sexual Sportswear' is considerably darkerthan most of his earlier recordings but still contains his hallmark kitsch retro sound. 'Sexuality' was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk, and is released on the label owned by fellow French artists Air.

Customer Reviews
The sound of a maturing artist?....I Think not
I knew this album would be seriously over-hyped but i bought it anyway on the strength of amazon customer reviews. All i can say is this, thank god i kept my receipt. A dull, lifeless album, where every song sounds like the other. To be fair i was'nt really a fan of Mr Telliers 'Politics' and the main reason for me buying this album was the inclusion of half of daft punks production genious, but even those tracks moved me very little.
This album really is about as self indulgent as you can possibly get. Instead of getting the triumph i was expecting, I was severely let down in terms of maturing as an artist and in terms of album material, this really shows no progression from his debut material.
Only buy if your a fan, otherwise stay well clear
Brilliant
Merrel have you ever listened to Tellier before or you just got excited when you heard this album was produced by the guy from Daft Punk?
I almost feel sorry for you dude
sexuality with no sex!
If this is Sebastian's idea of sexuality then he is a slow, repetitive and dull lover. This album goes no where interesting apart from the borders of pretension, which wasn't satisfying enough for my tastes. The same tempo was used throughout the album which made feel like i was listening to the same song on repeat. I was excited by the Homen-Christo production on this album but was left feeling that he is not the half behind daft punks success.
This album, in my opinion, is badly titled. It should be called "Limp with no dick" Maybe it's because i am a guy, but i would be interested to know what the ladies thought?
I was very disappointed.
