Perfect
I've not used the remote control features so I can't comment on them, I bought this alongside an ipod classic 120gb black as a dock for my desk for syncing and charging and in this it's superb, very smart, smooth clean black lines with a blue power LED, comes with a selection of dock adapters and fits my ipod perfectly, infact when I got the case I was able to remove the dock adapter and plug my ipod in still in it's case.
Very disappointing
This dock was advertised to work with all ipods. However, although I can use it to play my 4th generation nano, it doesn't charge, making it practically useless. Also, the remote doesn't provide facilities to navigate the menus. Since the 4th generation nano has spoken menus, there is no need to see the ipod when navigating so it would be good to be able to do this from the remote.
If you have a different ipod to the 4th generation nano it would probably be fine, although I expect it probably won't charge any other new models.
Good dock but no video for Classic
The dock works fine with the Classic 80GB iPod for playing music via a TV or HiFi and for charging. However, there is no video out via either the composite or S-video outputs. Logic3 website recognises this and claims it is due to this dock pre-dating the Classic. If you want video or photos to the TV from a Classic iPod don't buy this dock.
