Liked this so much I bought another one!
As my review title states I already own one of these Sandisk Cruzer Flash Drives. I've had no problems with the previous purchase and found it so good compared to other makes I ordered another one.

It's sturdy, compact, reliable and is also compatible with my Philips DVD player via the USB port. The retractable connector means that you've got no cap to lose and it has a metal clip to attach it to your keyring if required.

If you want to use it as a storage device the U3 software is easily removed. You get the option to do this the first time you plug it in. Should you at a later date decide you want to restore the software its easily done.

In short, at the price you can't go wrong!

CRUZER MICRO U3 4GB READYBOOST
I bought one of these in August and have tried several times to contact the manufacturers - I finally got through today.

I used the Cruzer as per instructions and backed up two files. To my annoyance, neither file would open when I went back to it. All I got was a messsge to say it was read only. So I attempted to restore the copy from my Cruzer. To my extreme annoyance, the restored files were also read only!!!!

I had no copy for the game, so had to start again from the beginning. However, I had the foresight to have made a copy of my other file to a DVD-RW and so did not lose all my financial information!!

Today, an Oriental sounding male at Sandisk told me that "it won't always back up all files - some of them don't work". I remarked that nowhere on their advertising does it say "SOMETIMES DOES NOT WORK - YOU MAY LOSE YOUR DATA"! There was a silence. No advice, no suggestions, no nothing!! I am now posting this information on any site which seems relevant. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Hope this saves others from my own experience. A friend has also tried it out on an old file - and the result was the same. Beware!!
