Customer Reviews

Very disappointed1
Items arrived and they are tiny compared to the ones in the shops for the same price. You can't tell from the picture but they are only about 1 inch across. My children were upset and disappointed and I will not buy anything like this online again. The size was not given just the weight which did not forewarn me. I feel conned.

not as described1
I wholeheartedly agree with the first review, when this arrived its about the size of a pencil sharpener. It does not come packaged and therefore could easily be second hand or fake. It is not somehting you can give as a gift at all in summary I can only say utter rubbish that to me needs to be described as new but unpackaged at best (although of course that statement could never be substantiated). I think the 2 reviews of 'I hate it' speak volumes!

If you know about Bakugan, you'll understand the appeal3
When I first saw bakugan, I thought "oh, they're clever", but not much more. Since I have watched the kids comparing their favourites and building their collections I can appreciate that there is soomething special about them. Increasingly, toy manufacturers have sought to tap into the temptation to become collectors and toys are designed to be addictive right from the start. When they add in the TV cartoon, there is no escape.

This toy would be a disappointment if you had not seen bakugan before. Previous reviews confirm that.

This particular product is something for the collectors. It has been removed from the packaging (where you buy random selections) and is sold as one of the desirable characters that kids will go crazy for. It is smaller than the ones in the shops at the moment, because it comes from the earlier versions of the balls, known as "B1". They are no longer produced and this is another reason why they are more expensive than the ones you can buy in the shops.

I've done my research today, and studied the ball that arrived. It appears to be a genuine bakugan (triangle screw-heads, copyright S/S/B and China embossed inside, sticker over the "G" number is same colour as the ball). It is expensive, it is genuine, it is one for the collectors.
