Synopsis
With her cheerful nature, inquiring mind, and colourful fashion sense, Nickelodeon's adorable bilingual heroine DORA THE EXPLORER has charmed both pre-school-age children and their parents alike. Designed to simulate a computer game, the animated series follows the cute little Latina girl, her monkey pal Boots, and their anthropomorphic cohorts Map and Backpack as they set out on problem-solving adventures that encourage interaction and physical activity while teaching simple concepts such as counting, logic skills, and basic Spanish. This volume includes two fun-filled, educational episodes that introduce Dora's cousin Diego: in 'Meet Diego', Dora and Boots visit her cousin at the Animal Rescue Centre and learn to talk to animals; while in 'To The South Pole', the trio help a lost penguin get back to his family.

kids love this dvd5
My 3 kids all love this dvd, ages 8, 4 and 2. Bought for a recent family holiday involving a long car journey. They have really enjoyed being able to watch Dora and Diego on the same DVD, keeping both my wee boy and wee girl happy.

Educational and enjoyable!5
My daughter (4) and son (2) both love this DVD...so do I! It is really enjoyable and great for language development because of it's repetitive nature. It also introduces basic Spanish from a young age.
