We are Adopted
I thought this would be a good book to use to talk to our 3 adopted children about the adoption system - it would have been excellent had we adopted them as babies from overseas but they are older and from a very unpleasant background, so all in all not much good to us. However, it's a lovely book and the illustrations very appealing.

Worth a look!
Although the book is American and not necasarily applicable to the adoption of our child, I will be reading it so that they can get an impression of other circumstances of adopted children in other parts of the world. The language is kept simple and the illustartions are good. It would be particularly useful for children who are adopted from other countries into the USA.
