Customer Reviews
Lovely book
Saw this book today while we were out shopping and will get it for Christmas. It's beautifully illustrated with LOADS of animals under different sections by where they live (water - sand etc) and then by their colour (stripes etc). My daughter loved sitting there and looking at all the animals and I love the art work too. Very wood block printy.
If you child loves animals then it's a must. (they have all the animals names next to them and then facts at the back about them in short notes.
treasure
this is a treasure!
my whole family fell in love with this beautifull book.
i am a biologist and find the drawings are both zoologic-accurate and artistic.
on each page you can look for a little chameleon hiding amoung the other animals.
my normally more digger-interested sons find this is funny to do.
if they show a special interest in one specific animal you can turn to the back of the book and read a bit, not to much really, what this animal feeds on, where it lives etc.
There are of course cats and dogs and elefants in this book to find, but even very unfamiliar animals like a desman, a star nosed mole or a genet- and many more!
it found a special place in our family, not only because it's to big for the bookcase.
Lovely Illustrations
a lovely book but much bigger than I had expected! you need an extra large bookcase!
