Super Laptop Carrier 18.4 Inch
Being the owner of a Fujitsu-Siemens 18.4 inch laptop and a fuss-pot I needed a bag to protect it on my travels. There are not many 18.4" bags and this Hama is perfect not only for the purpose intended but also great value for money. The carrier has lots of pockets for cords, memory sticks and paper work, looks good too. No regrets with this purchase.

I looked for a long time to fit my unusually large laptop, and this bag was definatly worth it. It's not over priced (like other large laptop bags) so it was affordable. The other sections in the bag are perfect for documents, cd's, etc. The only drawback I would say is that the bag only has one strap inside the main section. My old bag (for my old laptop) had 2 straps, so I felt the laptop was really secure (not that I'm saying this isn't secure, but mentally i would have liked to know there were 2 straps holding on to my laptop). Overall, this bag is worth it for large laptops.

Well made, but no room for transformer, mains or mouse
This case seems well made, and the handle is comfortable. This is important because this size laptop is heavy. My HP Pavilion dv8-1080ea is not such a good fit - there is quite a big gap longwise but even this does not afford anywhere to stow the mains transformer, the mains lead or a full-sized mouse. There are a couple of divisions for papers inside, and a large flat zipped pocket on the outside, but I'm still holding this hank of cables whose plugs are just too big, and this brick of a transformer and my Logitech mouse. My geriatric 15" Dell was better. Its case had a full-depth compartment at the side into which transformer and mouse neatly fitted. But even this could not accomodate our Britsh 13A plug. Perhaps no manufacturer, American or European, has ever accommodated our 13A. plug. But we are right and they are all wrong - their mains plugs are pitifully inadequate, intended for 110 volts. But this case should have managed the transformer and mouse. So only three stars.
