Customer Reviews
Excellent Album!
Another batch of great songs from Damo(except 10 & 11)!
The first nine songs are good enough to make this a hit.
A remarkable talent
This is Dempsey's fourth official album and it really is a departure from his usual more 'folkey' but extremely passionate songs. His previous albums demonstrated raw talent and an ability to empathise with the common man/woman's plight but this album has an altogether more upbeat feeling, helped largely by the caribbean rythms that feature throughout.
Damien is a rare talent and a refreshing one, being from Dublin and sounding like it too - this may make it less accessible to non-Irish folk but as with many great singers, you will either love or hate his voice. But if like me, you find his voice simply stunning then your on to a real winner here!!
Disappointment
WARUM?
