Customer Reviews

Excellent phones for the money...5
As usual with Amazon this product arrived within a few days of ordering. The phones look excellent with good button layout and a clear colour screen. Registration was very straight forward and only took a few minutes, but remember that both phones need to be on the main base station cradle to be registered, one at a time.

I've not had the phones long and certainly have not had a chance to learn/explore all the features/functionality yet, however, a brief look at the manual has confirmed that they'll do everything that I need...and more!

The use of voicemail function is simplicity itself, certainly compared to many other phones that I've had/used in the past. I'm going to keep this short but just want to assure anyone looking for a quality built fully featured good looking phone, you won't be disappointed with these. Also bear in mind that these phones are also recommended by Which magazine...so what more do you need.

Very happy with Siemens Gigaset C475 Duo5
We are tickled pink with our Siemens Gigaset C475 Duo phones which are excellent relative to our BT Studio 1500 pair. We bought the Siemens (via the A175 recommended in Which?)because we could not hear people clearly on our BT phones, and they couldn't hear us. The sound on the Siemens is good - and we found that the answer-phone works without a handset being plugged into the base station, which is a relief because the (ugly) base station can be hidden away. Messages are indicated by a flashing red button on the handsets, and you can retrieve messages from either handset - and delete them without bothering to go to the base station. The BT phones just forgot the date. Entering the date on one Siemens handset copied it automatically to the other handset. A phone directory entry can be copied to the other handset. Just put one handset in the base station until it's registered, and then the other. Leave them to charge fully, and use them until nearly discharged the first time, before recharging them.

Siemens Gigaset C4755
Well designed and user-friendly.
I had just said goodbye to a BT cordless phone, and wish I had done so earlier. The Gigaset C475 has actually had some clever thought gone into its design and its functionality......unlike its BT predecessor.
What swayed me initially, was the ECO DECT facility, because that's good for our environment, but it's pleased me beyond that: nice features, good sound quality, and it's even easy to hold (sounds too simplistic to mention, but how many cordless phones are difficult to grip?)
It's a great little phone, and certainly good value for money.
