Barbra's The Best
I have just purchased this CD to add to my Streisand collection and I have to say I wish I had bought it sooner. Released in 1967 it is surely Barbra singing at her very best. Virtually every track a beautiful ballad, she sings them in her own inimitable style. Her voice is stunning on this recording and I urge anyone to buy it. If you like her you will not regret it.

cannot be bettered?
This album contains some top songs but what really makes it special is the quality of Streisand's voice. This is the beginning of when her voice, in my opinion, entered it's best period and she made some fantastic pure vocal performances over the following five years. If you are a fan of 'musical things of beauty' this album is worth a listen.
