Patience required!4
I've only had this basketball system a few days but feel I ought to review it as soon as possible as there don't appear to be any reviews on the internet regarding this particular system.
Now that the system is up it is fine - it balances well (we have filled ours with water) and on its lowest height is great for my 7 year old as well as my teenagers and myself! It does not have a slam dunk ring so if you fancy doing any tricks then this probably isn't the system for you. Overall we are pleased.
However, it comes with the most appalling set of instructions for construction. I, sadly, quite enjoy constructing flatpacks, etc,. I looked at reviews for the other Reebok systems and discovered that many people had had problems putting their system together. Armed with this knowledge I sat down and read the instructions, waited for my other half to come home from work, and together we began to put the system up. It took us more than 3 hours (6 man hours), spread over 2 days! There were a number of things we had to redo simply because the diagrams were so poor. If you buy this system take care to look at the pictures in minute detail. Read all the info on the whole page before tackling anything on the page! Do not think that things seem obvious! Above all, do not start at 6.30pm on an April evening like we did - you will run out of light and get very cold and have to return to the task another day! This is a job for two strong adults. The main pole is heavy - we used our garden table to balance it on for some of the construction which worked well.
If the instructions were clear this would probably have received 5 stars. I am tempted to give it fewer than 4 stars owing to the dreadful instructions, but think that once built the system looks good and works well.

Great Product. Rubbish instructions!5
This is a fantastic product, excellent quality, perfect hight & easy adjustment. But OMG so difficult to put together. Some parts took my 2 kids sitting on it & my Wife & I pulling to get some parts to meet. After throwing it up the garden several times in frustration we eventually got it together. One things for certain, it should never fall apart !

As everyone says: great but a pig to put up!4
If you've read the other reviews you'll get the hint that this is hard to put up. I can't disagree. It took a friend with more manual skills than me (luckily he had popped round) and another adult at one stage. He kept a cool head and kept patient, every now and then using brute force. Put aside 2 hours if you are pretty good at this sort of thing, a regular person could easily spend 4 hours!

Once it is up the basketball hoop is bomb proof. Use a proper basketball and it is excellent, standing up to hard shots with ease. It starts off around 2 metres high (which is low enough for my 7 year old, but only just) and can go another metre or so higher. The system has wheels so you can move it around once it is full of water (you can use sand but the water was heavy enough).

Overall, a great addition to the garden and something we will continue to use for a number of years. It only lost a mark for the sheer frustration of getting it up.
