It's actually a good plug!
He justs bobs about on the surface - it's very much tongue in cheek. But the quality of the product is alessi standard.

Pointless
A di Alessi "Mr.Suicide" Bathtub Plug Blue I am very disappointed in the bath plug as firstly it is not a great bath plug as water leaks out the bath or basin when using the plug. We have tried every bath, sink and basin drain in the house but to no avail. We also recently moved house so it has been tried out in two houses! Secondly, the 'suicide' man does not hang properly from the suction cap but just falls down - or am I missing something and this is another 'suicide'? Compared to all Alessi products I have had in the past, this one defintely comes at the bottom of the list. The only positive I would say, is that it is well made. So I suppose, thumbs up to Alessi and thumbs down to the designer.
