Synopsis
This is the definitive guidebook to London's most unspoilt pubs. Ranging from gloriously rich Victorian extravaganzas to unspoilt community street-corner locals, this book is lavishly illustrated in colour. Combined with fascinating insights into London's brewing heritage, pub names, beer styles and more, "London Heritage Pubs - An Inside Story" is a must for anyone interested in London's pubs. There are a great many books about London pubs and a number about historic London pubs. None, however, take such a strict and detailed view of pub heritage as "London Heritage Pubs - An Inside Story" and none have the breadth of other content that marks this book out as such a unique and valuable title.A media campaign will support the launch.

Customer Reviews

Really good5
I was recommended this book by a friend and I'm very glad for it. The book is very easy to navigate (it's split into geographical sections - North London, West London, South West, Central etc), has a lot of photos (must have at least one for every pub) and even has maps of the different areas. The descriptions are interesting and give a good idea of what to expect inside the pubs.

Possibly the best feature is the choice of pubs. I now know a number of new pubs I'd not known about before and probably wouldn't have without this. Some real gems. I'm certainly not stuck for choices now when picking a place to enjoy a pint. The book has accompanied me on several nights and days out and is sure to get a lot of use in future.

Great new ideas for London drinking4
I bought this book for my sister and brother-in-law who live in London but rarely try out new pubs. This book is great. It's really well presented, and a nice book to look into and read its quirky information. It also has excellent recommendations for interesting pubs you would never find by chance. The mini maps to help you find them all are a really good addition too.
