Manufacturer's Description
VRRROOM! It’s race day in Beanotown, and the top characters from the famous Beano comic, along with some ‘friendly’ rivals from The Dandy, are competing in the Beanotown Championship Challenge consisting of six very special racetracks set up around Beanotown.
The Beano comic – a British Classic - was first launched in 1938 and along with its sister comic The Dandy, is still avidly read by nearly one million kids every week! True to the cheeky and mischievous Beano brand, with chaotic humour and fun throughout – no Beano fan young or old will want to be without Beanotown Racing!

Beanotown Racing Review
When I got this game I was so excited I could hardly believe it. It is a great game with easy control and 3 game modes (Championship, single race and time trail.) You can even unlock characters by winning other races. Plus if you buy the beano and dandy you can find cheats for it. Some of the cheats are Bigpie,Bigbod, aussie and more. This game is highly reccommended as it is good. Buy it.
Beanotown good on Pentiums but maybe flaky on AMD CPU's?
I got this game for my kids at christmas and have still only managed to get it to work on my Pentium 4 laptop. The game runs perfectly on it and my kids love it. The downside is that I have never got the game to run correctly on my AMD based system, the software company released an AMD patch on the web site but even this did not get the game to work. Customer support were good but eventually had to wave the white flag and suggest I return the game. Luckily for me I have 2 systems and it works on my Pentium and,of course, my kids would kill me if I sent it back now!
Beanotown racing review
Bought this for my son, if you have played Crash team racing, then this is very similar, racing as characters from Beano and Dandy, downside though is all controls are through the keyboard and single player. Make sure you know what graphics card you have in your machine as I had rendering errors & had to upgrade which cost me £40.
