Look gorgeous without a personal trainer or make-up artist
I am not a fan of self-help books, so this book was perfect for me. It didn't talk down to me like I was stupid, but at the same time it was realistic (in other words it didn't assume my wallet to be four times the size it actually is, nor that my life involved a visit to a health spa once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once just before I went to bed). This is a book with real advice, for real people, with real lives and real wallets.

I found I was able to incorporate the tips into my everyday routine, and I have already seen the results of some of these tips. There were some ideas that I had already tried before; advice passed on to me from other women in the know, but that is only evidence of Linda Bird's research into those things that perhaps only some women may know, but that every woman should know...

The book itself, in the same way as other books in the 52 Brilliant Ideas range, was easy to read and I found that its layout meant that I could dip into the sections that I was interested in. It is a book that is good if you have just a few questions about how to change a certain areas of your beauty regime, but also great for anyone who wants to completely reshape the way they do things to maximise the way they look.

I have recommended the book to many friends and I am also now the one to ask for all those tips on making the most of what we've got... If you want to know how to look gorgeous always, which apparently is possible, then this book really does do exactly what it says on the cover.
