Excellent concept, badly made.
The toy really is great fun to play with, and undoubtedly will last for countless hours, with over 10,000 possible solutions. But as I spent more time trying to fit the pieces together I couldn't help noticing how poorly the wooden parts are made.
Edges often are not quite perpendicluar and small splinters of wood can be seen. Most of the pieces are made by sticking two separate parts of wood toghther, and this can clearly be seen as there are sometimes gaps where the wood should be stuck onto, and the pieces themselves are made using quite rough wood, which, to me, feels like lack of quality.
Although the concept is excellent this particular product is made badly, so I would recommend the original instead.
